About Me

I am a Junior Developer at Alterian (formerly Techrigy). We offer an online service that monitors social media.

When I first started I was an intern and my only job was to redesign our company website. After 3 months I came aboard as a full time employee and my first release cycle was redesigning the GUI for SM2. Since then I’ve worn many hats; administrating our datacenter, managing customer accounts, and customer support.

My current role is shifting deeper into C# development.

This Blog

This blog is my home away from home. When I’m home I like to kick back, relax, and do my own thing. I love working with WordPress and spend a lot of time developing my own themes.

As I pick up new tricks I write tutorials that I think would be useful for other developers, not matter what skill level. I’ve come to learn that even the simplest of ideas can be a bit difficult to to deploy.
